What are paranormal or special abilities?
Occult powers, and strange ones, yet normal to all of us
Rocío: Special abilities are known in most cultures, called psychic abilities, siddhis, powers, etc. They include numerous possibilities such as the ability to see, hear and feel other dimensions, heal instantly, materialize objects or alter them, live without food, etc.
In most spiritual traditions, these abilities have been ignored due to the danger they pose in terms of the development of the ego, which can lead a person off their path, making them feel attracted to the practice solely by a search for “power” or the “supernatural”.
Often, these abilities have been seen only in great teachers, who, because of their level of development, have awakened or received certain strengths. Perhaps to help others, perhaps a simple gesture of life of letting the transcendental be remembered, perhaps because of how the mere process of incarnating is traced. However, not all great teachers have shown to have them, which indicates that they are not necessarily a symbol of progress.
Dr Pang has given great importance to them, trying to disseminate them so that they can develop in the individual, seeing in them a necessary step for liberation. He states that without them, it would be impossible to explain the Universe and everything it contains, since broad states of consciousness are required. Nor would it be possible to rescue the teacher within us so that he can consciously direct his life. Through paranormal states, the individual mind merges with the universal mind, thus accessing all types of information and energy, accessing the ultimate knowledge of life.
For the purpose of self-knowledge and walking towards the true self, Dr Pang has given theories and methods, and explained numerous examples of skills, thus supporting their development in both children and adults. Practices are taught to open vision, listening, developing feeling, creating, healing.
Dr Pang is committed to their development especially to promote the ability to heal and to be able to establish intuitive diagnoses that complement current technology. We at the One Light School organize training that includes not only the awakening of these capacities that we all have but also developing them, to learn to live in a more intuitive way, in constant connection and listening to the whole. We give a whole series of guidelines and methods for the development of the senses, expanding their capacity, seeing more widely, hearing in a more subtle and complete way, feeling beyond the confines of the physical body, and being able to know, access to higher realities, which allow us to finally realize our pure consciousness, to live from it.
